Jasper A. Sanchez (he | they), a Venezuelan-Colombian raised in Miami, is a curator and cultural organizer based in Boston. Their contemporary curatorial practice melds queer diasporas and reimagines public space to achieve creative justice, uplift artists, and make art accessible. Sanchez has curated exhibitions with the Boston LGBTQIA+ Artist Alliance, Boston Center for the Arts, Tufts University Art Galleries, Boston Cyberarts Gallery, and Gallery 263. He has presented programs with Boston Art Review and as a member of Mobius Artists Group. Sanchez has also collaborated with the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture, Planning Department, and National Parks of Boston; and served on the inaugural Collective Futures Fund Advisory Council. They hold a BA in Art History & Critical Theory from Lesley University in Cambridge.
