N+T Asks: What does "public" mean right now?
On April 3, 2020 we launched our new online conversation series "N+T Asks:". We were excited to welcome artist Silvia López Chavez and Program Director, Public Art at New England Foundation for the Arts, Kim Szeto, and more than 75 participants from across the cultural sector into the discussion. Together we shared ideas, support, and more questions about how the changes we are seeing in public life are affecting artists, funders, communities, and all of us as “the public”. Click below to watch or listen to the conversation (English language captions are available by pressing the CC button) and feel free to leave a comment with any insight you have about how we can create, maintain, and experience publicness in this time of physical distancing.
