Getting Around Boston
Public art meets public access.
The Boston Public Art Triennial spans neighborhoods across the city—from East Boston to Mattapan, the Waterfront to Roxbury—and we want you to experience it all.
Most project sites are located near major MBTA subway or bus stops, and many are walkable from downtown or connected by bike routes.
Take the T to easily reach neighborhoods like Dorchester, Roxbury, and Copley Square. Planning to drive? Several locations are accessible via I-93 and the Mass Pike, with nearby public parking lots and garages.
Prefer to bike? We’re proud to partner with Bluebikes, Boston’s public bike share system. Download the Bluebikes app to find the nearest docking station and pedal your way through the city’s open-air gallery. A map to navigate to all sites will be available by May 22.

ACCESSIBILITY
Art belongs to everyone.
We believe public art should be accessible to all. That’s why the Boston Public Art Triennial is committed to creating inclusive, welcoming experiences across every site and program.
Many of our locations are wheelchair accessible and reachable by public transit. All sites will include audio guides and interpretive materials in multiple languages. Our Public Art Ambassadors will be on-site during Opening Week and Triennial programs to offer directions, support, and answer questions.
We are continuously working to improve accessibility across all aspects of the Triennial. If you have questions about accommodations or specific needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help!
